We do not object to the awesome Phoenix Wright’s presence in Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 in any shape or form. What’s great is that Capcom just take the ridiculousness of putting the famous lawyer into their fighting game and run with it. His special moves include throwing papers at his opponents, yelling “I have MORE EVIDENCE”. He also hits people in the face with his infamous objection speech bubble. His Hyper Combo is bloody hilarious and has to be seen to be believed. Witness Phoenix Wright kicking ass for yourself below!
Square-Enix have given us a glimpse of the future by demonstrating their next generation engine to the Japanese press. The engine is codenamed Luminous and is currently running on high-spec Windows PCs using Direct X 11. The engine is designed to re-create real-life locations with incredible accuracy. Square-Enix believe that once Luminous is released, it could cut the development cost of next-gen titles by as much as 30% and has the potential to shorten development cycles drastically. Check out a brief video of the engine in action below: Square-Enix have said that the engine is diverse and could be used for anything from small casual titles to mainstream console games. What do you think of Luminous? Source: IGN

You’re probably thinking life as Batman must be pretty kick-ass. Sure, your parents are dead but at least they left you a crapload of money and a deadpan, English servant to keep you company. If that wasn’t enough, then there’s the fun of dressing up as a bat and serving out a dish of cold, self-righteous justice to the criminals of Gotham. The below trailer reminds us that the Batmen and Jokers in Gotham City Impostors are, well – impostors! They’re every day people like you and me, except they spend the nights fighting crime and their days nursing their wounds and working a day job. The game is a massively multiplayer online shooter that pits a team of Batman impostors against a team of Joker imposters. I don’t know about you – but that sounds like a pretty neat concept to me. Check out the above trailer. It conveys the comical tone of the game very well and is guaranteed to make you want to find out more about it.
The latest trailer for Need for Speed: The Run shows why living life on the edge isn’t necessarily a good thing because, you know, you could fall off it and die. The game looks like it’ll deliver the intense, adrenaline-fueled racing action the series is known for. I’m still not sold on the running bits where the game turns into Mirror’s Edge with quick-time events, though. Let’s hope Need for Speed: The Run delivers when it launches in the US on November 15th and Europe on November 18th.
Battlefield 3′s achievements have been revealed to the world by the guys at Xbox360Achievements, who have also provided us with details on achievements for games such as Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Modern Warfare 3 in the past.

You know a game is going to be great when even a 40 second trailer makes you laugh out loud two times! I won’t spoil anything for you, but if the below trailer doesn’t at least get a bemused chuckle out of you then you my friend, are dead inside. In case you didn’t know, Saints Row: The Third is due out in Europe on November 18th. The folks in the US get it a few days earlier on November 15th – the lucky bastards!
